Pull Throughs, also known as Squeegees and Plungers, are used to remove fine particles and fluids from pipes. They consist of two thick rubber discs mounted on a high tensile steel central shaft with a towing eye at each end. For applications where the pipeline contains tight bends a ‘flexible’ Pull Through can be supplied. This model has a chain linking the two discs, rather than a rigid central shaft. They are suitable for use with all pipe materials and are available in the size range 2″ (50mm) to 48″ (1200mm). -

Double Clevis Swivel for limited rotational applications. Used in winching applications to avoid damage to the cable or product pipe as a result of twisting winch wires. The Double Clevis Swivels feature a large clevis thereby avoiding the need for ‘D’ shackles and enabling direct connection onto Pipe Equipment Towing Heads. They are used in pipe bursting operations to ease rod and blade removals in two way bursts. -
Used to ‘prove’ the internal bore of a pipe or duct prior to the installation of a liner or cable. This is our Solid Nylon Proving Pig version. Also see our Steel Dumbbell Style version. Also known as cable grips or Chinese Fingers, they are used to pull or support cables and pipes. They work on the principle of the harder the pull, the tighter the grip. -
These dual sized glands are suitable for insertion of either the PE Tracer, or the Tracer Rod, into low pressure gas and water services. Each gland contains sealing arrangements for ¾” and 1” BSP threads, and ¾” and 1” gas meter threads. -
This glanding system, which has been tested at pressures up to 7 bar, is most suited for insertion of the Tracer Rod into gas and water mains and services. The gland rubber, which is about 25mm thick, can be compressed during use to increase the seal and prevent leakage. It has a 1” BSP internal thread as standard and is supplied with an adaptor to suit ¾” BSP. An adaptor to suit ¾” and 1” gas meter thread is also available Tracer Gland MP 3/4" & 1" BSP Thread -
To enable the PE Tracer to be inserted into live PE mains, via a standard Service Tee, a system has been developed that enables the cutter to be removed, and a guide tube, complete with a directional foot, to be installed under live no blow conditions. The guide tube has a low pressure glanding system as standard, but can be supplied with a medium pressure glanding system ( suitable for use at pressures up to 2 bar ) if required. Once the tracing operation has been completed the guide tube can be removed and the cutter replace, all under live no blow conditions. -

Wire Brush Pigs consist of two circular wire brushes mounted onto a high tensile steel central shaft with a towing eye located at each end. They are designed to be pulled through a metal pipe to remove loose deposits and dust prior to insertion of PE pipe. They can also be used after the Pipe Scraper to remove the deposits loosened by the scrapers. They are available from stock, for all common pipe sizes up to 12″ (300mm), with larger sizes available on request. Wire brushes are also available to mount on the front of a Towing Head to allow the metal pipe to be cleaned as the new PE pipe is installed.
