This glanding system, which has been tested at pressures up to 7 bar, is most suited for insertion of the Tracer Rod into gas and water mains and services. The gland rubber, which is about 25mm thick, can be compressed during use to increase the seal and prevent leakage. It has a 1” BSP internal thread as standard and is supplied with an adaptor to suit ¾” BSP. An adaptor to suit ¾” and 1” gas meter thread is also available
