For pressure testing and temporary sealing of gas, water, oil and sewerage pipes made of steel, cast iron, clay, plastic and concrete. For maximum allowable back pressures for each size of plug, please see attached the Datasheet in the document section. GIS E4 Gas Bag from Pipe Equipment Specialists
The GIS E4 gas bag is designed to pass through restricted openings measuring about 1/4 of the nominal pipe diameter or less.
Manufactured by our sister company Flowstop, with a strong 4oz nylon outer cover and a flexible backbone, they are highly durable and specifically designed for gas flow-stopping applications.
Available in cylindrical and spherical shapes.
- Stocked range: 3" - 12" (75mm - 300mm) – Conforms to GIS/E4 specification, available with UNF thread.
- Larger range: 13" - 36" (325mm - 900mm) – Manufactured in accordance with GIS/E4 but not tested and approved to the standard. Available with UNF thread.
- Made-to-order fittings: BSP and NPT thread options are available upon request.

Our range of Foam Pigs c/w Rope have been specially designed to make the installation off draw ropes and tapes into cable ducts and pipes much simpler and quicker. Once installed, the draw rope, or tape, can be use to pull in a cable or winch wire. We also offer a Foam Pig c/w Metal Eyes. -
Foam Pigs are used to remove dust or fluids from all pipe materials. They are generally pushed through a pipe using air or water pressure, although they can be supplied with a facility to allow them to be pulled through a pipe. Available in the size range 10mm to 1200mm. The prices online are for our basic soft foam pigs (1.5 lbs/cuft). For any bespoke pig or harder density versions, please contact our sales team. -
Expanding Stoppers also know as drain plugs or bungs, are used for pipes and ducts in the size range from 1/2″ (12mm) to 48″ (1200mm). They are manufactured from nylon, aluminium or pressed steel (dependant on size) and are designed to prevent the ingress of water and dirt into new and existing pipes. All stoppers have a central bored shaft in the size range ½″ to 2″ (dependant upon stopper size). This shaft has an external BSP thread and is fitted with a sealing cap. -
